Our mission: Enable the pastoral leadership of churches in places of difficult access and of restricted economic conditions.

Our vision: To provide basic pastoral training, free to all who wish to serve the Lord, in order to expand the kingdom of God throughout the world.

The goal of the Timothy Project is to enable church workers in different areas of pastoral leadership. Therefore, each module emphasises the "how" of Christian ministry. Thus, on completing the modules, students should be enabled to assume pastoral care of the local church. The project is not intended to train pastors as such, but to enable those in positions of lay leadership to perform the pastoral function, particularly in communities geographically distant from centres of theological education.

Target: The Project is primarily for those who have elementary schooling and churches that do not anticipate the possibility of a worker prepared in an institution of theological education at a higher level.
